AI Policy

Cashcraft does not build content generation tools involving human likenesses, deepfakes, or face/voice impersonations. Our AI features are scoped to specific, useful merchant tasks. This policy explains exactly what each product's AI does and does not do.

Our commitment

Cashcraft Pty Ltd builds AI features that enhance ecommerce work without compromising ethics. We design our AI features to enhance — not replace — human judgment. Every AI feature is scoped, optional, and editable.

Per-product AI scope

Convrs (WhatsApp Business platform)

Convrs uses Claude (by Anthropic) for text-based customer service replies. The AI receives your product catalog and customer message, and generates a helpful text response.

  • The AI does not generate images, voice, video, or any content involving people.
  • The AI is clearly identified as an AI assistant — it does not impersonate humans, claim to be human, or use any specific person's likeness or voice.
  • You configure handoff rules so the AI escalates to a human team member based on keywords, complexity, or off-hours behavior.

Sendrly (visual email marketing)

Sendrly uses two AI providers:

  • Claude (by Anthropic) for marketing copy generation, brand voice analysis, and layout suggestions.
  • gpt-image-1 (by OpenAI) for product imagery and scene generation.

Sendrly's image AI is configured to generate:

  • Product imagery (isolated products, products in lifestyle settings, abstract product compositions)
  • Scenes and backgrounds (a beach, a desk, a kitchen counter)
  • Decorative graphics and abstract elements

Sendrly's image AI does not generate:

  • Images of people, faces, or human figures
  • Deepfakes or face swaps
  • Anyone's likeness, with or without consent
  • Voice impersonations
  • Content that violates Anthropic's or OpenAI's usage policies

StoreSignals (WooCommerce analytics)

StoreSignals' AI Ask feature uses Claude to answer plain-English questions about your store data. It generates text answers based on your analytics. It does not generate images, voice, or any content involving people.

Data and AI training

We do not use customer data to train AI models. Customer messages, campaigns, and store data are processed by AI providers under their respective data processing agreements and are not retained for model training.

User control

Every AI feature in Cashcraft products is optional. You can disable AI features at any time. AI-generated content is always editable before being sent or published.

Reporting concerns

If you encounter AI-generated content that violates our policies, contact info@cashcraft.co.za. We investigate every report and take action including content removal and account review where appropriate.

Updates

This policy was last updated April 29, 2026. We update it as our AI features evolve. Changes are announced on this page and emailed to active customers.
